THE ECLECTIC ARCHAEOLOGIST BEDROOM
Art can be any manner of creation Here:Quilt, Pillows, Dresser, and Wall Hanging
This wall decoration was made to enhance the feeling of the room above.
The Quilt and pillows were made to give the look of a dessert tent. The walls in this
room were painted and then glazed to give the feel of an old adobe type place.
This chair cushions were painted with
paint to symbolize marble for the
Kings Throne. The wood parts were
embellished with some gold leaf paint
and color for the jeweled effect.
The curtains were made of heavy canvas to give the sense that you were in a tomb. They are pulled by jute ties. Original camel bells were used for the
decorations.
The tables in the Egyptian room were cut and painted to go with the platform bed so that everything would have that low look to it. The paintings in the
room were copied from pieces out of an Egyptian book to add to the motif
Made of clay and then fired. Macrome ties the end for a different look.
